The Power of One...

The Power of One, the movie, was made in 1992 based on the 1989 novel by Bryce Courtenay. The film was set in South Afica during the 1930's-1940's.
The film is based around the life and events of Peter-Phillip Kenneth Keith (Peekay)- a young English boy, with a dream that could change everything.

The main themes included in this film: depression, discrimination, leadership, self-relisation, power, racism

Interseting scene for me in this film: When Peekay got all of the South Africans together to sing and join in the fight for better rights and a better more uplifting moment for the South Africans.

This film made me realise: that everyone, no matter what race can make a difference, and you can befriend many from other races too. If you believe, anything is possible- even if it seems fair out of reach. People around the world can all join together to teach each other new languages, ways of living, beilefs etc.
